Control

Scans your Wi-Fi for lights, plugs and IR hubs, then puts every device on one screen, running entirely on your home network.

Control

Control finds the smart devices on your network and gives them one app instead of one per brand. It currently speaks to Yeelight bulbs and strips, Tuya / Smart Life plugs, and Broadlink IR hubs. Through a Broadlink hub it also drives devices that were never smart: for an AC it tests several remote code sets at once to find the one that works, and for a TV or fan you press each button on the old remote once and it learns it.

The engine is Python with FastAPI, built on existing open source device libraries, and serves a SvelteKit web app designed for phone and desktop equally. Phones connect over the LAN by scanning a QR code and approving a pairing code, and on iPhone it installs to the Home Screen like a native app. Next up are a Windows tray app, scenes, and an MCP server so Claude can switch things on and off.
